About the opportunity We are reinforcing the transmission network in southern NSW with HumeLink - a new 500 kV transmission line project that will improve the flow of electricity between new generation sources and major demand centres in NSW. It is one of the state's largest energy infrastructure projects, with about 360 km of proposed new transmission lines, and new or upgraded infrastructure at three locations.
As the Project Coordinator, you'll provide support and advice to the Project Director, Delivery Managers and team with the coordination of resources, equipment, meetings, and information.
It's a busy but rewarding role. You'll be faced with competing priorities whilst needing to consistently deliver an appropriate level of service to all stakeholders.
The role is based in Yass with a requirement to spend time in the Sydney (Ultimo) office once/twice per month for a few days at a time (therefore overnight stays are essential). The cost of travel and accommodation will be covered by Transgrid.
This is a permanent role, so we will not be able to consider candidates on short term visas/visas with limitations.
About you We're looking for an experienced Project Coordinator who is able to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities at once.
Project Coordinator experience gained in a similar industry/environment (Utilities, Construction, Infrastructure etc.) Proficiency in the use of relevant corporate information systems e.g. MS Project Sound knowledge of and proven experience in PC software i.e. Windows, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint Ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.
