**Job Summary**
The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and reviewing data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. They will coordinate with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings.
Key Responsibilities
* Supports the preparation of bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities and equipment acquisition.
* Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
* Commissions and qualifies or directs the commissioning and qualification of construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules.
Project Management
The successful person will execute the plans, designs and oversee the delivery of new facilities (including utility systems) and the reconfiguration and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction preferred
* Technical experience in pharmaceutical or regulated industry may be considered in lieu of an Engineering degree
* Experience in engineering or construction project management
* Experience managing multiple projects in remote locations
* Analysis and Project definition experience
Skills and Knowledge
* Strong communication skills with customers, design teams, contractors, and management
* Good problem solving, technical learning, time management and prioritizing skills
* Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facility
