The opportuity The consumers of the MIRT service may have found general case management support inadequate in meeting their needs and require a period of more intensive intervention to enable stable mental health, and progress with recovery-based goals. These consumers may have spent periods of time experiencing regular admission to inpatient units, experienced regular crisis which they struggle to manage effectively, or have complex situations which impact their ability to progress with mental health recovery. MIRT also includes an accommodation program component which provides temporary accommodation through the Department of Housing, and support to increase skills to maintain tenancy, reducing the risk of long-term homelessness. Registration with the Occupational Therapist Board Australia (AHPRA) is required. This position will require the successful candidate to participate in an extended hours roster to satisfy operational need. Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class "C" motor vehicle and an appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty.
