What You’ll Do :
As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
* Ensuring timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting.
* Preparing and managing the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
* Analyzing profitability reports and providing financial guidance to leadership.
* Working with external auditors for financial statement reviews.
* Supervising biannual physical inventory audits.
* Managing 401(k) plan audits and tax filings.
* Overseeing general ledger account reconciliations and accounts payable.
What You Need to Have :
The Musts :
* Minimum 10 years of experience in industry financial roles.
* At least 5 years as a Controller or in higher financial management.
* Strong understanding of GAAP principles.
* Intermediate skills in Excel (pivot tables a plus) and Word.
Preferred :
* Experience in a manufacturing company.
* At least 2 years in a public accounting firm.
* CPA certification.
