Facility Manager – Residential Aged Care (NFP) We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Facility Manager to join our not-for-profit (NFP) residential aged care facility.
This role is critical in ensuring our home operates smoothly and continues to provide exceptional care to our residents.
We have a strong preference for candidates who speak Mandarin or Cantonese (but not essential), to better engage with our culturally diverse residents and their families.
Key Responsibilities Manage daily operations of a large residential aged care facility.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead and support a diverse team, fostering a positive and effective work environment Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and facility maintenance Implement and uphold policies and procedures in alignment with our values.
Collaborate with the clinical and care teams to ensure the physical environment supports quality care and services for residents.
Manage facility-related budgets, track expenditures, and optimise resources efficiently.
Address and resolve any facility-related issues or emergencies that may arise, ensuring minimal disruption to residents' care.
Engage with residents and their families, particularly those who speak Mandarin or Cantonese, to address facility-related concerns or needs.
Requirements Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Facility Manager in residential aged care.
Qualifications in either Business Management or similar are advantageous.
Must be AHPRA registered Strong knowledge and experience in accreditation, compliance, and standards.
