About Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR)
The Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program will provide a highly secure, holistic and integrated view of the care a patient receives across the New South Wales (NSW) public health system. It will transform the digital systems that NSW’s public healthcare workers use every day to deliver care.
The SDPR is a next generation integrated electronic medical record (eMR), laboratory information management system (LIMS) and patient administration system (PAS). The program will replace the current nine eMRs, 10 PAS and five pathology LIMS in use across NSW Health.
SDPR will be delivered across NSW Health through a partnership between Local Health Districts (LHDs), Specialty Health Networks (SHNs), eHealth NSW, NSW Health Pathology and other agencies.

We have an exciting opportunity in the Single Digital Patient Record, Program Delivery for a Training Manager.
Reporting intoCapability Manager, Change and Adoption, you willbe part of the team responsible fordeveloping and managing the state-wide training strategy to lead the development, delivery and evaluation of training and educational support activities acrossusers in SDPR program and NSW Health. The Training Manager will also work directly with an Associate Director within the SDPR program to ensure ongoing alignment to the program vision and objectives.
Working in partnership with Principal Trainers within the Local Health Districts (LHD’s) and Specialty Health Networks (SHN’s), you will attend meetings across NSW Health to engage and collaborate with sites and attend site visits. Please note that there may be an expectation to undertake site visits to engage the local project teamsto support implementation planning and during high intensity periods such as testing and go-live.

What you will do
As an integral member of the team, you will:
5. Lead the design, development and delivery of training and development strategy.
6. Provide leadership and high-level support and advice to the health system, programs, business units, teams and individuals within and outside of eHealth NSW.
7. Drive improvements in training and development across NSW Health.
8. Engage with other leads across program on project management, change management, communications, stakeholder engagement and governance to deliver holistic training and education solution across all areas within NSW Health.
9. Provide management direction and leadership to the training and development team.
10. Provide subject matter expertisein a broad range of areas ie.program management, training needs analysis, strategy design training plans, coaching, assessment and program evaluation.
11. Guide a team of principal trainers and LHD/SHN partnerson adult education methodologies, design standards, training delivery modes and assessment guidelines.
About you
The skills, knowledge and experience we are looking for in you are:
12. Extensive experience in managing training and education delivery and adult learning, including proven experience in leading the strategy, design, development, delivery and evaluation of end user training.
13. Qualification in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent demonstrated experience.
14. Proven stakeholder management, negotiationand conflict resolution skillsfor managing change.
15. Clinical background experience in managing large-scale training is preferred but not required.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
