Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive diversity and inclusion strategies aligned with our company's mission and goals.
* Conduct assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted initiatives to enhance workforce diversity and inclusion.
* Collaborate with senior leadership and various departments to integrate diversity and inclusion practices into all aspects of the company's operations.
* Design and deliver training programs that educate employees about diversity, equity, and inclusion, promoting a culture of respect and belonging.
* Monitor and report on diversity metrics and progress towards set goals, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
* Foster partnerships with external organizations and communities to support recruitment, retention, and development of diverse talent.
* Lead efforts to address and resolve diversity and inclusion-related issues, ensuring a supportive environment for all employees.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes related to diversity and inclusion.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience as a Diversity and Inclusion Specialist or similar role, preferably within the defence or related industry.
* Deep understanding of diversity and inclusion principles, strategies, and best practices.
* Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
* Experience designing and delivering training and development programs.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze data, track progress, and drive continuous improvement.
* Proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for creating a more inclusive workplace.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
* National Police clearance and baseline security clearance ( or ability to obtain )
