About the role Quality of Life Behaviour Support is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be providing high-quality behaviour support services to individuals with disabilities in the Bundaberg and surrounding areas, Queensland region. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a key part in supporting our clients to achieve their goals and enhance their quality of life.
What you'll be doing Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the behaviour support needs of clientsDevelop and implement personalised behaviour support plans to address behaviours of concernProvide one-on-one and group-based behaviour support interventionsCollaborate with clients, their families, and other service providers to ensure a coordinated approachMonitor and review behaviour support plans to ensure continued effectivenessMaintain detailed client records and contribute to reporting requirementsIdentify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to the development of best practicesWhat we're looking for Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or allied healthExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholdersStrong problem-solving and critical thinking abilitiesAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamCurrent driver's licence and willingness to travel within the local areaWhat we offer Competitive contract remuneration, $90 - $135 p/hFlexible work arrangements to support work-life balanceInternal supervision and supportRequirements Driver's license, reliable car, and comprehensive insuranceHome office equipmentABNNDIS worker screeningWorking with Children's CheckProfessional indemnity and liability insuranceAbout us Quality of Life Behaviour Support is a registered NDIS service provider in the Bundaberg and surrounding area.
