Role detailsThe Community Health and Therapy Services (CHATS) at the Mackay HHS is seeking applications for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their team on a Permanent basis.How to apply and for mandatory requirements regarding this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.Your opportunityDeliver high level Occupational Therapy clinical services to consumers of Community Health and Therapy Services (CHATS), including outreach to regional areas, as determined through the Hospital and Health Services Plan and priorities.Provide organisational and clinical leadership to the CHATS in the Mackay Hospital and Health Service (MHHS).This incorporates clinical supervision, consulting, organisational and quality activities to assist with the ongoing service improvement.Work as a member of a trans-disciplinary team, delivering clinical services to consumers in the Mackay Hospital and Health Services area, covering a range of clinical conditions and complexity.This position operates within a Professional Skill-Sharing and Delegation (PSSD) model of care by providing and participating in supervision and training in the use of skill-shared and delegated clinical tasks, and by delivering an expanded scope of clinical practice.
