Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive, supporting our elderly residents, their families, and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM, and Night shifts. This role based at Hahndorf will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner, surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and possess the ability to “think on your feet,” communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also:
* Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), which is essential for this role; however, given the nature of the role working across resident lifestyle activities, a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is also eligible.
* Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector (*or willingness to obtain).
* Exhibit excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling, or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
* Demonstrate a very positive teamwork attitude, be a trusted co-worker, possess excellent time management (we are a shift-driven workplace including handovers), and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
* Have a passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and a willingness to help our company deliver quality care services every day!
* Display a positive, fun, and confident personality to help our residents (*who sometimes can be very shy) get involved in lifestyle and group activities.
