We’re looking for Surveillance Officers in training to join our team as part of a two-year program where you’ll gain experience working across various teams within our Sydney Project Delivery Group on six-monthly rotation. Our program gives you the chance to learn all about how Government, Construction and Maintenance Projects operate, develop skills across various disciplines, and build up your professional network. You’ll also participate in structured training through Transport’s extensive training options and have exposure to plenty of development opportunities while working with our friendly and supportive teams. At the end of your two years, you’ll have worked on some of Australia’s biggest infrastructure projects and be in a great position to secure ongoing roles within Transport for NSW. Role description. We’ll teach you what you need to know on the job, so relevant work or study experience is entirely optional; however, your application will stand out if you can demonstrate:• Good verbal and written communication skills – you can tailor your communication style depending on the context, ask questions when you’re uncertain about something, and produce well structured, easy to follow written materials.• Collaboration and teamwork – you can work towards a common purpose and goal within a team and communicate openly with your team members and leaders.
