As our Head of Acquisition Strategy, you’ll play a critical role in accelerating our customer growth across both digital and retail partner channels. Reporting directly to the EGM, Pay. The Head of Acquisition Strategy is responsible for developing and overseeing the strategic direction for acquiring new customers. This role will be responsible for straddling both digital and retail partner channels, creating and executing plans to grow the company's customer base efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in digital marketing technologies, user experience optimization, cost-effective audience conversion strategies and an understanding of traditional acquisition through retail partner distribution channels. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Acquisition Strategy: Lead the development of acquisition strategies that align with company goals, focusing on customer growth and retention. Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behaviors to adjust strategies accordingly. Manage and optimize the customer acquisition funnel, from lead generation to conversion. Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with marketing, product, partner distribution team, risk and analytics and agency teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of acquisition plans. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure that acquisition goals and budgets are aligned with overall business objectives. Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish KPIs and metrics to track the success of acquisition campaigns. Oversee regular performance reporting and analyze results to optimize tactics. Present insights and strategies to senior executives, adjusting approaches as needed to meet performance targets. Budget Management: Manage and optimize the budget allocated to customer acquisition efforts, ensuring cost efficiency and maximum return on investment (ROI). Prioritize channels and initiatives based on performance data and available resources. Channel Strategy and Optimization: Partner with marketing to develop paid media campaigns, including social media advertising, search engine marketing (SEM), display ads, and retargeting. Optimize campaigns for cost-efficiency and maximum ROI. Work with marketing to conduct A/B testing on creatives, messaging, and targeting to continuously improve performance. Lead the testing and scaling of various customer acquisition channels such as partner in-store and online, paid search, social media, email, SEO, partnerships, and influencer marketing. Ensure the optimization of customer acquisition strategies across all channels for the best results. Customer Segmentation and Targeting: Use data and customer insights to define and segment target audiences. Ensure personalized and relevant messaging for various customer segments to improve conversion rates. Innovation and Trend Spotting: Stay on top of the latest trends in acquisition marketing and emerging technologies. Identify and test new acquisition channels, tools, and tactics to stay competitive. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of acquisition professionals, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the acquisition team. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in marketing, acquisition, or growth strategy, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing and distribution, growth strategies, and customer acquisition techniques. Data-driven approach to decision-making, with proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Salesforce, etc.). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strategic thinking and problem-solving. Strong financial & business acumen with the ability to drive results. Expertise in digital marketing platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, etc.). Knowledge of customer segmentation, CRM, and marketing automation tools. Sound like you? That's a good sign!
