We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at this iconic Sydney hotel, nestled in the picturesque Double Bay.
Your role will be integral in coordinating the launch of "Le Petite Chef," a unique dining experience that combines delightful dining with sophisticated theatre.
You will work closely with guests to ensure a memorable experience, manage staff schedules to meet event demands, and supervise the service process to maintain high standards.
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Meet with guests to ensure seamless welcome and seating
* Help manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for events
* Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations and updates
* Supervise the service process to ensure Food & Beverage associates perform duties according to department standards
* Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure timely preparation and service of food
* Assist in other F&B departments as needed
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A higher education qualification or equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or a related field
* At least 1 year of related experience, including supervisory experience (preferable)
* Availability to work across a 7-day roster
* Certifications or permits required by local governmental agencies
