Your role will be to produce exceptional food as part of a team of up to 12 Chefs, as well as ensure all OHS standards are met and assist in all areas of preparation. You will also be required to show leadership and assist with the training of kitchen juniors.Open 7 days a week, the Boundary Island Brewery is a destination venue with a sky deck overlooking a small marina, stunning indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a brand new Texan offset smoker, a separate pizza kitchen with a state-of-the-art pizza oven, a balcony for long lunches, and a relaxed undercover alfresco area.We offer a young, fun, professional, and safe working environment with lots of space for personal development.What we Offer:Welcoming teamNo late nights (kitchen closes at 8:30pm)Competitive salary dependent on experienceWaterside venue with stunning viewsExposure to a range of cooking techniquesEasy car access & no parking feesLocated in Mandurah – winner of the Top Tourist Town award 2022Flexible hoursFun and vibrant atmosphereWe are looking for multiple Chef De Parties to join our team:Responsibilities and Duties:Menu Execution Excellence: Collaborate closely with the Head Chef to execute menu items flawlessly, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to recipe standards.Kitchen Operations Oversight: Take charge of daily kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service and exceptional food quality.Team Leadership and Development: Lead by example and provide guidance to kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging teamwork.Inventory and Procurement Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory levels, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock, and controlling food costs.Quality Control and Standards Maintenance: Maintain strict standards of food quality and presentation, conducting regular inspections.Safety and Hygiene Compliance: Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.Menu Development and Innovation: Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new menu items and contribute creative ideas.Customer Satisfaction Focus: Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Uphold company policies, procedures, and kitchen protocols.Requirements:Minimum 1 year & 6 months with a preference of 2 years experience in a previous roleStrong staff development & training backgroundCommercial Cookery Certification or equivalent work experienceReliable form of transportationDemonstrated experience within a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated leadership capabilitiesHours are full-time.
