This position will be full time and based at the head office in Rydalmere.Job Purpose The Traffic Safety Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Traffic Control systems and practices that cultivate a great safety culture by building effective relationships and driving continuous improvement across the business. This role intersects various aspects of business operations, taking a proactive approach to identifying hazards and risks on site and advising on appropriate corrective and preventative actions to ensure we are working in a safe manner and delivering excellence to our clients and projects.Key Responsibilities Assist with the development, review, collation, and distribution of traffic control safety communication such as SWMS, toolboxes and safety alerts, and the maintenance of site safety documentation. Update procedures, SOPs and other documentation as required, in line with naming conventions and version control processes and distribute to the relevant teams. Support the delivery of company inductions through the maintenance and development of a wide range of onboarding toolkits, documentation, and material to ensure access to relevant and engaging HSEQ information. Conduct site audits and inspections as per a pre-determined schedule, managing NCRs and any corrective, preventative actions within the required timeframes, recommending continuous improvement activities. Management and tracking of the site-based incident management system; and reviewing of daily risk assessments and hazard reports, ensuring that all registers are developed and maintained along with action progress and close-out. Participate in investigations into incidents and accidents to identify root causes and develop appropriate corrective and preventative actions. Assist with the return-to-work process and injury management function, ensuring a smooth transition back to the workplace for injured employees. Qualifications and Expertise Professional certification or qualification in a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality discipline; Cert IV WHS or similar Minimum 1-2 years safety experience, construction or traffic control experience preferred. Full clean driver's license. Strong understanding of WHS legislation
