Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams to understand and address procurement needs.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clarify, define, and refine the scope of supply, supply requirements and statement of work and provide regular updates.
* Respond quickly to changing procurement requirements and project needs.
* Make fast, informed decisions under tight deadlines to minimize project disruption.
* Address supplier issues quickly to ensure project timelines are met.
* Ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
* Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate procurement risks.
* Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
* Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for procurement systems and process improvements and efficiency.
* Foster a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to procurement challenges.
* Approach the market including obtaining quotes, releasing request for tender, evaluating offers, and assessing the market's capacity to supply.
**Requirements:**
* Equivalent experience to, or, a Cert IV in Supply Chain (Procurement, Material Logistics), Contracting, Business, Commerce, Law, or Finance, or relevant technical background.
* Minimum of 5 years prior relevant procurement and/or purchasing experience.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* Proficient in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
* Ability to create impactful presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint for stakeholders.
* Prioritise tasks effectively to handle multiple procurement activities at once.
* Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
* Advanced understanding and ability to use software/online based procurement/purchasing management systems.
