The role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Trainer to join the Canberra Technology User Engagement team. The Technology User Engagement team Our Technology User Engagement team offers training and technical support to partners and employees of Clayton Utz. The training is either delivered as a one-on-one, classroom, seminar style or webinar. The training encompasses most software applications available on mobile devices, digital dictation devices, desktops and laptops, and hardware devices such as iPads, usage of Laptops and Video Conference equipment. The role of the Technology Trainer is to facilitate IT learning programs aligned to the Clayton Utz's business strategy and to assist the local Infrastructure Support Analyst where required. Key responsibilities This varied and exciting role will see you facilitate IT learning programs aligned to the Clayton Utz's business strategy. This role will see you working in the Technology User Engagement team which also: Promotes and conducts orientation training and other regular advanced and refresher training programs with a view to extending the skill levels of users; Provides remote training for other offices when required; Conducts regular floorwalks and provides ad-hoc training support; Identifies gaps to recommend and conduct appropriate training and development; Develops and maintains training materials and aides relevant to training courses and business needs; Works with individuals to ascertain the best technology for their business needs; Works proactively with the National IT Department in order to provide a high level of support and detailed assistance to all users. What we are looking for? To be successful in this role, you will have: Advanced Microsoft 365 knowledge; Experience as an IT trainer ideally in professional services/law firm or a large corporate environment; A Certificate IV in Training and Education or tertiary qualifications in adult education (highly regarded); Experience with Document Management Systems would be an advantage; A proactive and professional working style, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; A genuine drive to learn new systems and work collaboratively with the team. #LI-SD How to Apply?
