Our mission is to ensure that all team members worldwide understand their expectations, receive timely feedback and recognition, and are supported in developing the skills and experience needed to make an even greater impact in the future. The Impact Experience team sits within the Rewards and Performance Group at Canva. Our Impact Experience team is small but powerful. What you’d be doing in this role At the moment, this role is focused on: Evolving our Bi-Annual Impact Experience processes by strategically maturing our system and tools, cycle cadence, rating scales, education approach, and their connection with talent management and reward & equity programmes. Designing and building strategic, repeatable and scalable performance and feedback frameworks which help to shape our approach to individual goals and skill growth. Reviewing and Improving our promotion processes across our global teams, providing clarity on when and why decisions are made. Aligning initiatives with our overall people strategy, by collaborating closely with business leaders and partners across Canva's People team. Crafting communication to share with company-wide audiences to keep them updated on program cycles, actions needed, upcoming events, related initiatives and any other relevant information. Building strategic relationships with key leaders across the business to ensure impact and feedback are embedded into daily operating rhythms. Driving continuous improvement of the system functionality, education programmes, communications, support guides, calibration practices, and distribution reporting. Developing resources and tools for managers to effectively manage performance and guide them on how to have great performance and feedback conversations. Identifying and bridging gaps between the Impact Experience and other People programs such as Leadership, Diversity & Belonging, Talent, and Learning teams. Providing data-driven, strategic recommendations to leadership based on insights gathered from performance data and feedback to drive organisational growth and impact. You’re a performance management specialist: You bring deep thought leadership and subject matter expertise in performance management, feedback, promotions and goal-setting and have successfully scaled performance management processes in other roles. You are a strategic thinker: You have the ability to flex between delivering quickly and also reflecting, ideating, challenging, and maturing our approach and practices. You are a clear communicator: You have a knack for synthesising complex ideas into simple, brief, direct messages; and who communicates in a kind, clear, conversational tone of voice. You’re a HR systems expert: You have a deep understanding of, and ideally first-hand experience in, managing performance approaches and tooling.
