About the Role
This role involves working as a Mortgage Broker Assistant, supporting our Finance Advisory team in managing the loan application process. Key responsibilities include gathering information, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring a seamless experience.
* Gather and organise information to assist the Finance Advisory Team in preparing finance proposals.
* Support financial analysis and proposal preparation for clients.
* Review and submit loan applications using the aggregator software.
* Assist with regular client loan reviews.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Coordinate with conveyancers, solicitors, bank staff, accountants, real estate agencies, valuers, and insurance providers to facilitate smooth and timely settlements.
* Reconcile monthly upfront and trail commissions payable from lenders.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and lending processes.
About You
We're looking for an individual with:
* Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or similar discipline, or working towards such qualifications.
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge of loan application processes and lender requirements would be advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
