About the Home Our Wodonga care home is situated near the NSW/VIC boarder, in the historic town of Wodonga. It is close to the local community, near the town centre, Murray River, local parks and transport links. It consists of 116 beds, in a one storey, wide building, consisting of low and high care units. Our primary goal is placing our focus on the health, lifestyle and well-being of our residents. Your passion for food along with your person-first approach will make a real difference to the life of our residents. Weekend Shift Available (7.30 AM - 4.00 PM). Duties •Plan and prepare well balanced and nutritious meals for our residents •Liaise with residents, families, and the care team to ensure residents’ dietary, individual and cultural needs are met •Support the efficient functioning of kitchen and catering services •Comply with all infection control and food safety procedures •Perform administrative duties related to the kitchen operation such as stock taking, and food quality assessment Skills and Experience •Previous experience in the preparation and delivery of meals within a similar environment •Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is preferred but not essential •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •The ability to solve problems independently Culture We all share the same purpose at Bupa Aged Care.
