About FIP Group Proudly powered by People IN - Australia's largest ASX-listed talent solutions company - FIP Group is the leader in the delivery of innovative, national and international workforce solutions.Operational since 2006, FIP Group is passionate about providing supportive end-to-end staffing solutions to Australian businesses, specialising in the food and meat industry.FIP Group truly understands the complexities and challenges regional and rural businesses face in meeting operational staffing requirements.In addition to our local recruitment services, we are a proud government-approved employer under the PALM (Pacific Australian Labour Mobility) Scheme, connecting Australian businesses with both seasonal and long-term employees from Pacific Island Nations.About The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Manager to support day-to-day operations and personnel onsite.This role will see you play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships and empowering staff.This role is a permanent, full-time role (Monday-Friday).In this position, your duties will also include: Manage new personnel arrivals to site and mobilisation e.g., inductions, site access, transport, accommodation.Coordination and management of mobilisation of Pacific Labour Scheme (PLS) workers.Transportation of employees to clinics and appointments.Conflict resolution and addressing employee issues proactively.Manage and support onsite employee wellbeing including regular check-ins and follow ups.Education and mentoring of onsite employees in relation to workplace operations.Fostering the relationship between the client and FIP Group employees.Manage the onsite workforce, including employee onboarding, employee performance and conduct related matters, probationary checks, warnings, and terminations.Escalate serious breaches or seek guidance on desired outcome to Internal HR.Oversee, manage, and report on employee retention and attendance.Educate and coach onsite employees and visitors on safe site practices.Monitor and report site safety and WHS policies and procedures.This role will require travel to Corio as well.About You To excel in this position, you should be committed to delivering results and supporting onsite personnel.Your dedication to this role and the fostering of positive relationships is crucial to your success in this role.You should also possess the following attributes: People management experience Intermediate computer literacy, including Microsoft Suite skills High level written and verbal communication skills Exposure to the fundamentals of Human Resources, HR experience is desirable Open Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle High-level problem-solving skills Ability and willingness to receive a QFever vaccination and complete a Police Check Exposure to site safety and WHS policies is desired Experience working with a culturally diverse workforce is desired If this sounds like an opportunity that excites you, we want to hear from you.APPLY NOW!
