About the role:
You will be providing Occupational Therapy services to a primarily pediatric case load in clinic, community and via telehealth in a collaborative environment with our onsite Speech Pathologist and Equine Program staff.
Provide ongoing therapy programs tailored to the participants.
Work with the onsite Speech Pathologist to conduct group programs including Social Skills, School readiness and High School Transition.
About our Client:
They have been providing Allied Health services to the local growing community for 4 &1/2 years. In that time the demand continues to grow.
They provide equine programs to people with a disability to develop and enhance their abilities. The Centre has an Allied Health clinic including Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy to provide a wrap around service to participants as well as opportunities to do therapy differently. There are gardens and open space as well as interactions with horses that can contribute to therapeutic outcomes where appropriate.

Musts:
Degree in Occupational Therapy
Be AHPRA Registered with Professional Indemnity / Public Liability Insurance
Have excellent organisational skills, verbal and written communication skills.
Have own transport
Eligible to work in Australia
Have the ability to obtain:
Current First Aid Certification
Working with Children Check
NSW Police Check
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Note: Experience in Animal Assisted Therapy is not a requirement of this role.
