You will have a chance to make a real difference to your local communities and to the lives of those you work with.About The RoleJudicial Support Officers provide support to Magistrates before, during and after court sittings and must be comfortable using technology, thrive in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure, have strong attention to detail and are committed to providing a quality service.The Judicial Support Officer is responsible to:Undertake the role of Judicial Support Officer in and out of court, in the criminal, civil and specialist court jurisdictions. Provide administrative and operational support to the judicial officer to ensure the progression of court proceedings.Perform court functions including maintaining records of proceedings. Manage court sittings and exhibits, prepare, and check court files and documentation, and finalise court proceedings.Operate and monitor court technology equipment including video and audio link equipment, as required, to facilitate court proceedings.Prepare and process court documentation including electronically producing and quality assuring documents, notices, orders and warrants.
