This is a great opportunity to build on your existing skills and experience within a supportive business unit Position Overview The Patient Applications Analyst will perform proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to Healthscope's Patient Applications. The role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of key systems that impact patient care, and you will work collaboratively with various teams and vendors to resolve issues efficiently and implement software upgrades. As a Patient Applications Specialist your responsibilities will include: · General Support: Triage, investigation & resolution of support calls assigned to Patient Applications Team within agreed SLAs. · Provide problem resolution documentation and notification to users · Liaise with software vendors to log, escalate and follow-up problems that require software fix · Prepare and upload funding contracts received from Commercial Partnerships Team · Maintain standard configuration · Participate in projects as required · End user training · Health Fund Contract Loading: Upload contracts, prosthetic items, and fees while ensuring compliance · Reporting: Assist with training, scheduling reports, and investigate balancing issues with vendors. · Support government and private practice reporting · Billing & Payment: Manage patient billing processes and resolve related issues · Incident & Problem Resolution : Resolve issues within SLAs, consult with users, escalate when needed · Software Testing & Implementation: Test and document fixes, maintain configurations, train users, create Confluence/User Reference cards · Participating in the On-Call roster · Quality/Risk Management: Participate in audits and suggest improvements · WHS Compliance: Adhere to WHS policies and contribute to a safe work environment Essential Criteria: Authority to Work in Australia Minimum 5 years' experience with Patient Administration Systems Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to tasks Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written and communication skills Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines Experience with webPAS, eAdmissions, SQL Server, Oracle, and healthcare environments (desirable) Experience in software testing and patient applications implementation (desirable) Healthscope, where career means more No matter where you are at in your career, at Healthscope you can choose your own adventure.
