Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inform patients and family members about their treatment goals and progress
2. Maintain a full-time caseload, including children and families receiving services through insurance, school-based programs, consultation, or private pay models
3. Supervise students as needed
Requirements:
* Current license from the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Physical Therapist Assistant or eligibility to sit for the exam, with licensure obtained within six months of hire
* Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association
* Strong professional writing skills, including the ability to document medical necessity and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and other stakeholders
* Excellent time management skills to meet clinic requirements and documentation and billing deadlines
