Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - StructuresWe are seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Structures. The role is based at RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland and will support a diverse team on exciting and rewarding programs.
Responsibilities Structures aircraft and component servicingProvide direction and supervision as necessaryUndertake structures Quality Inspection activitiesCompletion of assigned tasks by undertaking a variety of activities, requiring the application of training provided in accordance with the appropriate documentationContribute to improvements in the performance of the teamEnsuring all maintenance tasks carried out are IAW the applicable Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) and certified in the maintenance documentationPromoting a safe and healthy work environment by ensuring compliance with EH&S policies and proceduresLiaise with 21J Design Organisation and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation in relation to repair design and incorporationBe available for both A Shift and B Shift, rostering in rotation with other section membersExperience/Qualifications Be able to demonstrate an understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) proceduresHold or be able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance of Negative Vetting 1Meet the security requirements of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)Be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety proceduresHold a C class driver's licenseElevated Work Platform TLILIC2005A or equivalentWork Safely at Heights RIIOHS204A or equivalentComposite and Bonding recertification - currency within the last 3 years (36 months)Confined Space trainingAbout us Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is shaping the future of aerospace and delivering some of the nation's most important programs for the Australian Defence Force.
