You will utilize a range of techniques, tools, and equipment to perform evaluations, visual inspection of parts, measure dimensions, conduct tests, and compare results against predetermined standards. You will also collaborate with the SQM team and production teams to rectify problems and make necessary adjustments to ensure that parts are compliant with quality requirements.In this role, a typical day will look like:Producing inspection reports for SQMRaising Non-Conforming Reports for any defects seenMonitoring & transacting defected parts from production lines/quarantineResponsible for all RMAs to suppliersResponsible for calibration of inspection equipment - externalTaking part in daily QDIP session for SQMWorking with Path Lab for defects analysisAssisting SQE in supplier issuesThe essential requirements of the job include:Developing inspection plans for incoming partsInspection experience on vision and/or CMM equipmentAbility to read technical drawings - GD&TProducing inspection reportsExperience with RMA handlingExperience working within a company producing electromechanical assemblies (preferred not essential) or industrial manufacturingLinx is proud to be part of the Product Quality & Innovation segment of Veralto (NYSE: VLTO), a $5B global leader dedicated to ensuring access to clean water, safe food and medicine, and trusted essential goods.
