OneDigital supports hybrid working – which means a mix of working remote and in our 699 Collins Street Support Centre.
What you’ll be doing
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the OneDigital and Wesfarmers Corporate Office business objectives. This role partners closely with hiring managers, HR, and business leaders to deliver a best-in-class recruitment experience, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality candidates across all disciplines; with a strong focus on technology.
This role would be primarily supporting Data and Digital roles across OneDigital and Wesfarmers Corporate Office; however, this will extend to support functions as needed.
Key duties and deliverables:
What does a normal day look like? Well, no two days are alike but you could probably expect your day to include some of the following activities -
Recruitment Delivery
* Partner with hiring managers through the recruitment process including defining process and agreeing timelines; ensuring the manager is aware of their responsibilities; providing advice on recruitment best practice, market trends, sourcing strategies; facilitating manager training if required, and implementing initiatives to continuously improve.
* Professionally manage candidates through the recruitment process including explaining the recruitment process; interview preparation; interviewing and provision of feedback at agreed intervals.
* Develop sourcing strategies by using a variety of appropriate channels including web-based and direct sourcing, including niche and senior roles.
* Negotiate offers and compensation packages, whilst ensuring that all processes are followed in line with the agreed methodology.
* Manage agency delivery or candidates for recruitment assignments.
* Maintenance of the Application Tracking System (ATS), showing respect for the integrity of the data.
* Reduce dependency on third party suppliers for employee recruitment through innovative and creative direct delivery methods.
Recruitment Process
* Assist in the development of recruitment policies, procedures, and process improvement.
* Ensure Managers are advised of employee on-boarding activities for new employees.
* Ensure all Recruitment data and information is documented in a consistent way and readily accessible.
Manage the Applicant Tracking System
* Understand all aspects of the applicant tracking system and assist with the maintenance of the ATS to ensure maximum usage and efficiency gains.
What you will need to be successful:
* Relevant tertiary degree or qualification in Business or HR (desirable but not essential).
* Experience in sourcing talent across disciplines with a strong focus on data and digital.
* Experience managing senior-level stakeholders and candidates and recruiting for senior roles and the ability to work autonomously.
* Track record of implementing best practice talent sourcing and acquisition processes and methodologies.
* Successfully used a variety of sourcing methods and activities to build talent pipelines with the right candidates.
* Outstanding communication skills to ensure we are able to effectively present the opportunity that is on offer.
* Passionate about people; building and nurturing relationships and aligning great talent with exciting opportunities.
* Comfortable prioritising and executing within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
* Apply a commercial mindset and critical thinking to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Ability to maintain professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
* Ability to identify customer needs and expectations, determine the appropriate action and respond accordingly.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Great interpersonal skills including an ability to develop key relationships.
