As a Support Worker at LAAS, you are directly responsible for the day-to-day support, personal care and personal development of our Participants. You will provide a range of community living services to assist people living with a disability to live independently in supported accommodation and be actively involved in their local community, be valued, respected and engaged in meaningful opportunities and relationships.We are currently seeking support staff for day shifts available between 8:30am - 4:30pm.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day support, personal care, and personal development, empowering individuals with disabilities.Ensure participants are valued, respected, and engaged in meaningful opportunities and relationships.Qualifications and Skills:Enthusiastic about enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.A valid Driver's License.Hold a current First Aid (HLTAID003) certificate.Willingness to undergo an NDIS Worker Check clearance.Ability to assist with personal care and domestic duties respectfully.Physical capability to handle manual handling tasks.Enjoy working in both team and independent environments.Strong computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.Exhibit a sense of accountability and confidentiality.Completed COVID-19 vaccination (doses 1, 2, and 3).About LAAS:With over 30 years of experience, LAAS is a trusted disability support service committed to providing exceptional care.
