The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, this role will see you work as part of the maintenance team - carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance. Our team is focused on maximizing mechanical equipment and systems, whilst achieving minimal downtime, so you'll need to be experienced with fault finding. The facility comprises of Ammonia, Nitric Acid and Ammonium Nitrate plants plus infrastructure, utilities and power generation.
On a daily basis, this role will see you:
* Execution of planned and preventative maintenance to fixed plant.
* Upgrading of Equipment
* Working on instrumentation, hazardous area work
About You
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone that will support continuous improvement activities and competently perform Electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks.
* Minimum 1-3 Years Experience in a chemical manufacturing plant or similar heavy industry continuous production environment
* Possession of Current Queensland Electrical licence
* EWP and Forklift licence (Desirable)
* Electrical & Instrumentation Dual Trade Qualifications (Desirable)
* Knowledge of process instrumentation, high voltage switching, EEHA and control valves
* Experience installing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and maintaining Instrument & Electrical
* Must be willing to participate in a call out roster
