Our National Clients & Markets Communications team is adynamic group of marketing and communication professionals who arepassionate about developing and executing strategies and activitiesthat promote and enhance the BDO brand and meet the needs of ourpeople and clients.
We are currently looking for a proactive Communications Managerto join our team in Sydney. This position will be responsible formanaging the communications and marketing strategy andimplementation for a portfolio of the firm’s key sectors andthe Sydney office.
Your responsibilities for this role will include but notbe limited to:
* Act as Business Partner for a portfolio of key sectors in alignment with our national Clients & Markets and firm strategy, developing strong relationships with leaders and teams members across the firm.
* Efficiently and independently lead the proactive planning and delivery of content marketing strategies for portfolio areas, aligned to firm strategy and BD objectives.
* Take a senior role in the development and delivery of priority internal communication projects, including working with C&M leaders, the Sydney office Managing Partner and other senior leaders.
* Partner with the BD and client experience teams to identify content opportunities based on the client journey.
* Mentor junior team members and support the Senior Manager, Communications with team pastoral care.
To be successful in this role ideally you’llhave:
* Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, public relations or similar
* Previous experience within a similar role (within professional services would be beneficial but not essential)
* Strong project management and time management skills
* The ability to develop rapport at all levels
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
* High level interpersonal and written communication skills
* A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
* The ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
