The role will develop and execute appropriate, “fit for purpose” HR strategies aligned with corporate goals. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and partnering closely with the CEO and broader leadership team, the role will be responsible for the corporate office HR with key relationships with HR counterparts in Namibia and Canada in an advisory capacity.Accountabilities will include:Manage all employment activities for the corporate office including development of position descriptions, recruitment, appropriate job sizing, employment contract advisory.Develop and maintain frameworks, initiatives and programs to address gaps in the organisation’s human resources agenda.Manage HR data and market benchmarking to assist with HR activities such as workforce planning and global salaries.Work with the Corporate Affairs team in effective communication and messaging globally.Implementation and management of remuneration and benefits practices and management of the annual remuneration cycle.Support the Board and leadership in succession planning and develop appropriate and fit for purpose development activities.Contribute to monthly reporting, including management and reporting all of HR related matters.Attend Nomination and Remuneration Committee meetings as required.To be successful in this role you will be an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience across all areas of Human Resources. You will be able to demonstrate good knowledge of contemporary best practice across the employee lifecycle as well as have good skills in remuneration data analysis and Excel. It will also be important that you foster collaborative relationships to support senior leaders and executives and work effectively toward achieving strategic objectives.
