Position Overview: As the Venue Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our taproom and event venue operations. You'll be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, managing a team of dedicated staff, and ensuring exceptional service to our guests. From coordinating events and managing inventory to fostering a vibrant community presence, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of our brewery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage day-to-day operations of the taproom and event venue, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and vendor relations.
2. Oversee a team of bartenders, servers, and support staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
3. Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest experiences and increase customer satisfaction.
4. Coordinate and execute a diverse range of events, from beer tastings and live music nights to private parties and brewery tours.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the venue, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
6. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote events, engage with customers on social media, and drive sales.
7. Monitor financial performance, analyze sales data, and implement cost-saving measures to maximize profitability.
8. Cultivate relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and beer enthusiasts to expand our reach and foster a sense of belonging.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in hospitality management, preferably in a brewery, restaurant, or similar setting.
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
4. Proven track record of successfully planning and executing events of varying sizes and complexities.
5. Solid understanding of beverage operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and quality control.
6. Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
