About the Position
The Technology Procurement Manager will play a critical role in supporting the procurement of technology solutions across the organisation. This includes managing tenders, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with government regulations.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the entire technology procurement process from start to finish, including documentation of all tender management, exemptions, leasing, and procurement records.
* Establish and administer technology procurement arrangements and procurement proposals in accordance with Victorian Government Procurement Board (VGPB) standards.
* Collaborate with category leads/managers and business line stakeholders to comprehend the Museum's specialist technology goals, supplier environment, lifecycle management, and ways to enhance technology project results.
Requirements
* Extensive end-to-end specialist technology procurement expertise within state government procurement processes (with exposure to the Victorian Government Procurement Board (VGPB) framework and compliance rules, including government State Purchase Contracts).
* Demonstrated experience and understanding of various technology procurement categories including hardware, software, and professional services.
* Strong commercial, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
What We Offer
This is a full-time, ongoing position with a salary of VPS4.1 $92,332 (pro rata) + 11.5% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a National Police Records Check.
