The work of the Central Partnership Team also supports and is supported by the whole of Victorian Government regulatory reform program.About the rolesProvide advice to departmental executives and Ministers on complex and potentially sensitive matters including legislative advice relevant to the delivery of the project, and prepare high quality and authoritative briefings, Cabinet submissions, budget bids, reports and presentations.Manage the preparation of documentation and reports for key decision-making bodies, senior executives and government, and implement agreed outcomes.Lead the drafting of a range of legislative documentation including regulations.Prepare high level research and analysis of legal and legislative policy issues.Project management of workstreams, including consultation, timeframes, procurement and budget processes to ensure that objectives and commitments are met on time and within budget and quality requirements.Manage tasks, including consultation, budget and reporting processes to ensure that objectives and commitments are met on time and within budget and quality requirements.Proactively build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and communication channels, using informal and formal methods of communication, including the preparation of complex reports, briefings and presentations to influence senior stakeholders to achieve project objectives.About youWe are seeking applications from candidates with demonstrable experience in:Collaborating with other departments on policy and legislative work.Planning for implementation of legislation.Preparing Cabinet submissions, briefs, reports and advice for relevant Ministers and executives and supporting parliamentary and budget processes relating to the work program.Coordinating and supporting governance groups.Contributing to the development of legislation and regulations.Experience and qualificationsTertiary qualification in law is required.About our cultureWe aim to be a model employer providing an inclusive workplace that is understanding and respectful of differences such as gender, identity, race, disability or age.
