You will be directly involved in driving digital transformation to enhance the important strategic objectives of the Division and will work with a talented and supportive team who will help challenge you to learn and grow in an exciting, evolving environment.
The team applies best-practice, people-centred methodology and continuous improvement techniques to design, deliver and govern future-fit operational processes and technology solutions, improve the operations of the Division, increase efficiency, drive innovation and enable strategic delivery of legal services.
Key responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of the divisions mandate and roadmap through managing project initiatives, including implementing and acting on project plans or driving project streams under broad direction; upskilling stakeholders and accurately documenting milestones, work breakdown structures, outcomes and change impacts and project support to ensure successful planning, implementation and continuous improvement
* Contribute to the creation, management and implementation of practice management processes and protocols within the Division and for Branch-specific needs including managing the system and process for the intake and allocation of new work (triage), supporting end to end matter management initiatives, system training support and identifying and implementing systems, processes and reporting tools
* Undertake scoping and analysis of process improvement initiatives and sustainable operations across the Division.
* Ensure the accurate capture and analysis of data within the Division, tracking and reporting on performance metrics to support continuous improvement, business insights and project and operational decisions
* Contribute to document management governance and knowledge capturing processes to drive practice management rigour and operating discipline within the Division, and for effective use of legal knowledge and information across the Department
* Under guidance, build best-in-class, innovative, intelligent self-service or automation tools and other solutions for routine, transactional or volume work to amplify the Division’s impact as a responsive, strategic advisory service
To be successful in this role, you must:
* A tertiary degree majoring in business, commerce, law or information technology OR minimum 4+ years experience in legal operations or legal practice management within a legal or regulatory environment
* Strong proficiency across Microsoft 365 suite – in particular advanced capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, PowerAutomate and SharePoint – required.
* Experience with document management, case/matter management systems and other legal technology solutions desirable
* Business process mapping capabilities (e.g. BPMN) will be highly regarded
* Must undergo a National Police Check
