We proudly work with tier-one resource companies and have ongoing contracts with major iron ore producers and LNG operators.This role will require time to be spent predominantly in Perth, Canning Vale.About the role Multitask across a number of small and large Energy projects simultaneously with preparation for ad-hoc and new project work.Determine labour and material requirements for site projects and workshop projects.Organise materials and procurement required and oversee any required in-house design requirements for both ongoing workshop and site maintenance campaigns.Prepare and monitor project scheduling, cost control and quality control.Ensure all safety standards are implemented, understood and complied with.Review new and ongoing scopes of works and ensure technical and commercial requirements are met.Interface with client's and other staff in a professional manner.Other attributes that would be a bonus: Have a strong focus on safety with previous examples of influence.Have well developed communication skills & the ability to lead and coordinate a team.Develop & maintain effective relationships with the client.Experience with rope access work scope execution.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have: Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.A minimum of 5 years' experience in project work in the oil and gas industry with some workshop experience included.A varied background working for both large and small contractors on Brownfield projects within the Energy industry including Oil & Gas.Brownfield project experience preferred – preferably exposed to any of the following Woodside, Chevron, Inpex, Exxon and Santos.Knowledge and expertise of maintenance practices, standards, systems and processes relevant to Brownfield project activities.High attention to technical detail and ability to meet tight deadlines consistently with customer liaison.Experience with Marine Loading Arms is preferred but not essential.Fully understand workshop practices and be familiar with work packs, fabrication drawings, ITP's, design specifications, creation of purchase orders and preparation of quotes.Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role.If you meet the above selection criteria, please submit your cover letter and resume via apply now.
