About the role :
Operating within the National School of Theology, as a Lecturer (Religious Education), you will deliver high-quality and innovative teaching and learning through lectures, tutorials, and other classes within the School of Theology at undergraduate, honours, and/or graduate levels. You will contribute to curriculum development, content design, and create a supportive, inclusive, and effective learning environment, including practical support for students.
You will demonstrate high standards of professional behaviour consistent with the university's Mission and values and Code of Conduct for All Staff. You will show a commitment to performance excellence and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will understand the university's Catholic Identity and Mission, integrating principles of social justice, the pursuit of truth, and care for the common good into your academic activities, relevant to your teaching-focused career pathway.

What we offer :

* Total remuneration valued at $138,750 - $163,685 per annum (pro-rata), including salary component $117,246 - $138,429 (pro-rata) (Academic Level B), employer superannuation, and annual leave loading. A 2.8% increase will be effective from the last full pay period before 30 June 2025.
* 17% employer superannuation contributions for eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
* Annual leave loading of 17.5% of four weeks' salary, payable depending on your start date.
