Job Title: Occupational Therapist
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide support to Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families, helping them optimise their child's development.
About the Role:
The Occupational Therapist will work closely with a range of professionals, including doctors, psychologists, and social workers, to deliver seamless assessment, treatment, management, and support. This will include helping children access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) for conditions such as Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing occupational therapy services to Aboriginal children aged 0-18 and their families
* Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care
* Assessing and developing individualised plans to support children's development
* Supporting families to access the NDIS and other relevant resources

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience working with Aboriginal children and families
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
