We are seeking a proactive Human Resource Advisor to support our labour hire operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, managing compliance, and providing expert advice on employment conditions and workplace relations. You will work closely with various clients to ensure that staffing needs are met efficiently and employees are aligned with contract requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies, including advertising job vacancies, interviewing candidates, and coordinating workforce deployment.
* Maintain personnel records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in a labour-hire context, awards, and contracts.
* Provide advice to clients and internal stakeholders on workplace relations policies, employee performance, and disciplinary matters.
* Facilitate the induction and onboarding of employees, ensuring they are informed of the conditions of service, salaries, and job expectations.
* Manage ongoing communication between employees and clients to ensure alignment on job vacancies, conditions of employment, and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Undertake negotiations on employment terms and conditions, including resolving any disputes or grievances that arise between employees and clients.
* Study and interpret relevant legislation, awards, and employment contracts specific to labour-hire arrangements.
Ideal Candidate:
* A bachelor's degree in human resources, social sciences, sociology, or a related field is preferred.
* Solid understanding, or willingness to learn, of workforce compliance, awards, and legislation relevant to labour hire operations.
* Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills, particularly in resolving issues related to contract employees.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with both clients and labour-hire employees.
* Familiarity with HR information systems, Xero, Jotform, Deputy or willingness to learn.
