Our client is seeking a proactive and versatile Office Administrator to join a dynamic team at a small but expanding construction company. What do you do?
* Assist in preparing accurate estimates for House & Land and investment property projects.
* Gather quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
* Help prepare contracts and documentation related to residential construction.
* Perform general office administration duties, including managing phone calls, emails, and filing.
* Keep track of and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
* Provide support and liaise with Construction Supervisors.
* Deliver excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring a smooth process for first home buyers and investors.
What do you need?
* A keen interest or experience in the construction industry, particularly in first homes and investment properties.
* Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Basic estimating skills or a willingness to learn.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in an administrative or estimating role is advantageous but not required.
