The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Work Health and Safety Business Partner to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
1. Provide high-level advice to the Injury Prevention Manager, Gold Coast Health WHS Management Committee, executive and senior management, managers, workers and other stakeholder groups
2. Engage and consult with stakeholders to implement opportunities for innovation and improvement in safety and wellbeing, addressing identified deficiencies and improvement opportunities
3. Manage, coordinate and conduct internal safety investigations to identify risks, trends and patterns, providing recommendations
4. Lead in the analysis, interpretation and management of health and wellbeing occurrences within assigned directorates, analysing WHS data to provide advice to the business
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
5. Driver Licence
6. While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded
7. Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
8. Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

18. Base salary ranging from $117 824 - $126 212 per annum
