About the Role
Effectively coordinate a team of multi-disciplinary social health staff across the Brisbane/ Logan region and manage the delivery of responsive community imbedded mental health, ATODS and social support interventions. The Manager, Social Health will assist staff to provide comprehensive clinical mental health treatment based on clinical assessments, targeted wellbeing group programs, suicide prevention services, intake and triage services, coordination of comprehensive social supports and immediate care responses.
Duties
* Oversee and provide the integration of the Brisbane/Logan Social Health Team and its services into clear pathways of coordinated support delivered by other ATSICHS Brisbane programs and services and teams.
* Support other ATSICHS Brisbane teams to deliver wrap-around mental health/AOD services from an integrated holistic care plan.
* Build strong relationships with SE Queensland stakeholders in Mental Health/AOD in building a strong service system across the Logan/Brisbane region.
* Identify emerging service delivery challenges and actively forward plan responses that better meet the needs of the local community.
* Provide effective leadership, guidance and support to staff to ensure a flourishing workplace culture that promotes the ethos and values of ATSICHS Brisbane.

* Base salary $113,542 per annum.
* 11.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay).

Required
* Bachelor qualification in Psychology/ Social Work/ Human Services/ Sociology/ Criminology/ Nursing/ Health/ Allied Health/ Counselling/ Occupational Therapy or relevant field.
* Demonstrated experience in managing a team in a Manager, Social Health, Team Coordinator, Manager or similar role.
* Demonstrated experience in overseeing and coordinating case management processes and procedures.
* Ability to lead, guide and manage people including the implementation of cultural change and change management opportunities.
* Ability to support and manage a continuous improvement model to further improve the service model and practice application of front-line staff.
* Demonstrated ability to meet targets/performance outcomes.
* Decisive listening, influencing and persuasive skills.
* Ability to utilise participative management practices and adopt a supportive, stimulating management style to achieve real and tangible quality outcomes for families.
* National Police Clearance.
* Working with Children's (Blue Card) or be eligible to apply.

* Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and understand the cycle of care patient system.
* Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities and their leaders, respecting traditional culture and ways of doing business.
* Demonstrated organisation skills, including an ability to multi-task, to plan, set and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines, and to work independently, efficiently and effectively.
* Knowledge of culturally safe practices and sensitivity towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
