About the opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to work with our Transport team. You would be the primary point of contact for our clients - ensuring that we fulfil all our allocations, managing bookings, helping to find and match our carriers with loads, and updating and managing our systems.
As the Linehaul Allocator you will be responsible for linehaul movements across Australia.
Responsibilities
1. Receive emails and calls from clients requesting either local and interstate loads.
2. Update our internal systems for all bookings.
3. Support with customer service enquiries.
4. Manage and organize driver delivery allocation, run planning and other operational requirements.
5. Champion safety on site and ensure the health and safety responsibilities of all staff are effectively communicated.
6. Day to day planning and coordination of pick up-ups and deliveries.
7. Efficient utilization of contract carriers and internal drivers.
8. Ensure Delivery In Full On Time (DIFOT) is met.
9. Ensure systems and processes are adhered to.
10. Operations are conducted in accordance with safety and COR standards.
11. Regularly meet with Clients to ensure we are meeting expectations.
12. Recruitment of Internal Drivers into the Ezi Loads team.
Job requirements
1. Minimum 12 months in a similar role or have transferrable skills.
2. A wide network of interstate and local carriers around Australia would be very advantageous.
3. Manage drivers and loads after hours.
4. Strong work ethics and dedication.
5. Ability to work proactively and solve problems.
6. Strong stakeholder management and leadership ability.
7. Enjoys autonomy being a self-starter.
8. Have intermediate computer skills - Google, Excel, Word and Transport systems.
9. Possess strong communication skills.
10. Have a strong customer service focus.
11. Proven problem-solving abilities.
12. Be results-oriented.
13. Be a team player who works hard but is willing to have a laugh.
