Summary:The Health Informaticist will be responsible for managing patient health records and other health-related data, analysing and interpreting health data, and designing and deploying technology solutions that improve patient engagement and support the delivery of patient-centred care. The successful candidate will work in a healthcare facility or other healthcare IT organisation environment and may be required to travel to different healthcare facilities in the country.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement systems for managing health data
Analyse and interpret health data to identify patterns, trends, and insights
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that health information technology supports clinical workflows and enhances patient care
Design and deploy technology solutions that improve patient engagement and support the delivery of patient-centred care
Oversee the management of project timelines, budgets, and resources
Stay current with technology trends and developments in the healthcare industry
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics or related field
Fluency in Electronic Health Records/applications like Epic, Cerner, and other clinical data systems
Experience in data analysis and interpretation
Strong project management skills
Great communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of regulations and privacy laws governing the use and storage of health information, including HIPAA and GDPR
