Your Next Opportunity
As a Senior HR Officer you'll be the go-to expert providing dedicated, end-to-end support to senior leaders and staff. You'll play a crucial role in guiding the organisation through recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
In this role, you'll have the chance to shape Council's workforce strategies and make a real impact, ensuring high levels of staff engagement, professional development, and employee satisfaction. You'll be a trusted advisor for everything HR-related.
What You Bring to the Role
Essential:
* Proven expertise across all areas of Human Resource Management, including recruitment, performance management, and industrial relations.
* Strong knowledge of relevant HR legislation, awards, agreements, and policies.
* Ability to research, analyse, and provide strategic HR recommendations.
Desirable:
* A tertiary qualification in Human Resources (or equivalent), while not essential, will be highly regarded.
* Experience in HR within a large or complex organisation, especially local government, is an advantage.
