As NAK Hair enters into exciting new channels, the Key Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, and achieving revenue targets. You will be the major point of contact for numerous large key accounts, maximising sales opportunities, and meet the company's growth objectives.

Description
Reporting to the Director of Sales, this is a newly created role as NAK Hair enters new channels. As a pillar role in the business, your responsibilities will be:
1. Act as the key contact to maintain strong business relationships with new and existing brands in the organisation's portfolio
2. Drive outcomes for sales distribution through new channels and existing business partnerships in key accounts
3. Oversee some large buying groups with efficiency and effective management.
4. Management of trading terms, rebates, discounts and financial components of each account
5. Maintain a deep understanding of the market, including industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
6. Manage all communications between key accounts and internal NAK departments.
7. Support new channels and act as the key contact for new brand initiatives.
8. Drive discussions to ensure a promotional activity calendar is established for each sales channel.
9. Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders within NAK departments to achieve strategic objectives and brand initiatives.
10. Represent the company at various state-based and national industry events.
Profile
With impeccable and efficient account management being your number one focus, the successful candidate will represent:
11. 4-5 years of demonstrated experience in account management, with exposure to the haircare, beauty, personal care, or retail sectors
12. Experience dealing with pharmacy buying groups would be a huge advantage.
13. Understanding of markets, positioning, branding, and opportunities to promote products
14. A results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets
15. Organisational aptitude, impeccable communication, and negotiation skills both written and verbal, and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams with both internal and external stakeholders
16. Experience CRM and forecasting tools (Netsuite would be an advantage)
17. Tertiary qualifications in business, communications, or related field or equivalent experience
