KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER - FOODSERVICE ROLE & BUSINESS: A business-critical Key Account Management role with a major player in the Foodservice industry.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the Key Account Manager is responsible for delivering sales and margin targets through active management of strategic key accounts (key end user groups).
The role is expected to collaborate with the State Sales teams to identify, target and bring to fruition new business opportunities across the VIC/TAS region.
In principle, this will be achieved via a detailed end user segment/major customer planning process inclusive of pricing, volume, competitor analysis and distribution planning (in conjunction with key wholesale distribution partners).
This is a business development and strategic account management remit created to realise market growth opportunities and increased capacity.
IDEAL CANDIDATE: The Key Account Manager will have a foundation in FMCG wholesale account/business management and relevant experience in either Foodservice, QSR, Coffee, Independent Retail or Drinks (on premise or retail).
Tertiary qualifications in business will be highly regarded.
