Job Description Our service based in Middleton Grange is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 27.5 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!
Shift times will be Monday - Friday 7:00 - 9:00 AM (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30 – 06:00 PM (Stay and Play Program), with the opportunity to pick up morning shifts if you would like to.
About the role
Working in a team of Educators, you will have the support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:
Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art, and craft - whatever you and the children are into! Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents. Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite. Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have:
Enjoy working with kids. Strong and clear communication. Team player with a desire to become a service leader. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children. What's in it for you?
