About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Payroll Accountant to join our team at Van Haandel Group Pty Ltd in the vibrant suburb of St Kilda, VIC. This part-time role will be responsible for managing all aspects of our payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payments and entitlements.
What you'll be doing Processing weekly payroll for our 100+ employees, including calculating wages, superannuation, tax and other deductionsMaintaining accurate employee records and updating information as requiredEnsuring compliance with all relevant payroll and tax legislationPreparing and filing periodic payroll reports and tax returnsProviding exceptional customer service to employees, addressing queries and resolving payroll-related issuesAssisting with the implementation of new payroll systems and processesCollaborating with the finance team on month-end and year-end payroll reconciliationsWhat we're looking for 3-5 years of experience in a payroll accounting roleStrong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation, and superannuation requirementsExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skillsProficient in using payroll software and other relevant computer applicationsMicrOpay highly regarded for payroll with Deputy time and attendanceExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWhat we offer
